Money For What?

Bryn Parry-Jones quit his job.   He was Council leader in Pembrokeshire.

During his stay of office, he was given a superb Porsche Panamera to use in his job.   When he quit, he was given a golden handshake of £277, 000.

When the ordinary working people of Wales do a good day’s work, year after year, they may well get a mediocre company pension – for which they have paid during their working lives – and their workmates may have a whip-round to give them a retirement pension.

Draw your own conclusions, my friends.

Least Said . . .

That pervert in North Wales was found guilty of molesting children.   Straightway, the media was saying “He may be in prison for the rest of his life”.

So what?  His innocent victims got life, anyway.   They will never forget their experiences.

Nuff sed.

About Archie Lowe

Though not born in Wales, I have lived and worked here for many years now. I love the place and love that mercurial thing "Welshness". I have been accused of being "a Taffophile" - which is pretty near the truth. The question I ask whenever some idea comes up for the whole of the UK is: "What's in it for Wales". I believe in an independent Wales and am so pleased that our Assembly is a big step on that road.
