Let Us Forget . . .

. . . for the next few day, anyway, the horrible and hideous things we hear reported on the radio and television news-broadcasts.   For this should be a time of rejoicing and festivities.

If you accept Jesus was who he claimed to be, then you will enjoy your Christmastide.   If you look forward to the Winter Solstice and the – very, very slow – return of earlier morning daylight (and, of course, later evening darkness), then enjoy that, too.

I will not spoil your celebrations by posting moans of misery from Wales.

But I will say “Nadolig Llawen”!

And here’s a seasonal picture for you.

Poor being turned away

About Archie Lowe

Though not born in Wales, I have lived and worked here for many years now. I love the place and love that mercurial thing "Welshness". I have been accused of being "a Taffophile" - which is pretty near the truth. The question I ask whenever some idea comes up for the whole of the UK is: "What's in it for Wales". I believe in an independent Wales and am so pleased that our Assembly is a big step on that road.
